Multiple major champion Tiger Woods has fallen to his lowest-ever world ranking. The former World No.1 has not played in a professional golf event since last July’s Open Championship at Royal Troon.
Woods, now 49, was supposed to begin his PGA Tour season at the Genesis Invitational in February but withdrew following the death of his mother Tida.
There was intense speculation Woods was going to play in the flagship Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass but he decided against it.
