John Elway expressed heartbreak after Jeff Sperbeck lost his life after a golf .

The NFL world has been rocked by a tragic accident involving Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway, whose former agent and longtime business partner Jeff Sperbeck, died following a golf cart crash in California.

 

Sperbeck, 62, passed away on Wednesday, days after sustaining serious injuries in the Saturday evening incident, ABC News confirmed via the Riverside County Coroner.

 

According to TMZ Sports, Elway was allegedly driving the golf cart when Sperbeck reportedly fell from the vehicle on the 53200 block of Humboldt Boulevard in La Quinta, a private community popular with high-profile figures.
