TOUCH DOWN A FEW MINUTES AGO: Geelong cats Star midfielder Bailey Smith Has Been Banned from sports Activities by (AFL) Officials After He Tested Positive for……. VIEW MORE

In an explosive development that has sent shockwaves through the National Elite Football League (NEFL), Coastline Sharks superstar midfielder Blake Stanton has been suspended indefinitely after league officials confirmed he had tested positive for a prohibited performance-enhancing compound during a routine check earlier this week.

Sources inside NEFL headquarters revealed that the test results “left no room for ambiguity,” prompting an emergency meeting among league executives late last night. Within minutes of the findings being confirmed, Stanton was reportedly escorted from the team’s training facility and advised not to participate in any football-related activities until further notice.

Fans were left stunned as the news broke barely minutes before the Sharks’ scheduled press conference.

“We’re just as blindsided as everyone else,” said head coach Marcus Rowe. “Blake has been one of the hardest-working players in our squad. This is completely out of character. We’re cooperating fully with the league.”

Stanton’s representatives released a short statement early this morning claiming the midfielder is “seeking legal advice and intends to challenge the findings.”

League officials are expected to announce further details in a formal briefing later today.
