Few minutes ago, Collingridge Football Club midfielder Nathan Deacon was confirmed dead at the age of 23 following a devastating car crash on his way to an early-morning training session.

According to initial reports, the young midfielder was traveling alone when his vehicle lost control on a rain-soaked highway, colliding with a roadside barrier. Emergency services arrived at the scene within minutes, but despite their efforts, Deacon was pronounced dead on arrival.
