𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧: Few minutes ago, Harbour City Roosters winger Mika Nawaqanitawe was confirmed dead at the age of 25 years following a devastating car crash late last night.

According to initial reports, the young winger was on his way home after a private training session when his vehicle was involved in a high-impact collision on a suburban roadway. Emergency services arrived at the scene within minutes, but despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The club released a short and emotional statement, saying they are “absolutely shattered” by the sudden loss of a player described as both a rising star on the field and a humble, respectful young man off it.

Teammates and fans have already begun flooding social media with tributes, remembering his explosive pace, fearless playing style, and infectious smile. Flowers, jerseys, and handwritten messages are expected to be laid outside the club’s headquarters throughout the day.

Authorities have confirmed an investigation is underway, and further details will be released once family members have been formally notified.
