Tiger woods leaves everyone in shock after recent controversial decision.
Tiger Woods has been in the news recently for congratulating Rory McIlroy on his Masters win. McIlroy’s victory marked a significant milestone, as he became the sixth golfer to achieve a career Grand Slam, joining an elite group that includes Woods. Woods, who couldn’t attend the tournament due to recovery from surgery, took to social media to welcome McIlroy to the club, saying, “Welcome to the club. Completing the grand slam at Augusta is something special. Your determination during this round, and this entire journey has shown through, and now you’re a part of history. Proud of you”.
Woods himself has been working on his recovery and is expected to return to competition at the Hero World Challenge in November. He’s also planning to participate in the PNC Challenge with his son Charlie Woods. However, his former caddie Joe LaCava has started working with Patrick Cantlay.
Additionally, there’s been discussion about Woods’ career, with golf legend Mark O’Meara suggesting that Woods underachieved despite his impressive record. O’Meara attributes this to injuries and the era in which Woods played, stating that if everyone had to play with older equipment, Woods would have won more tournaments.
